| His oldest son, TUNG Hu Ling (1917 - 1992) succeeded him ; several other brothers and sisters also taught in Asia ; the most prominent being Jasmine TUNG (Hong Kong).

| The eldest son of Hu-ling, TUNG Kai Ying, studied Tai Chi Chuan with his father and his grandfather. He teaches on a regular basis in Asia, North America, Europe and Australia. A meeting of his students was held in Northern China in September 1999. Hundreds attended and participated in Tai Chi demonstrations. In addition to visiting France three times in the year, Master Tung holds regular workshops near his hometown. In November 2006, a meg-meeting was organised in Hong Kong by Jasmine Tung . Participants included Tung family members, students from numerous countries having studied Tai Chi with 3 generations of the Tung family.
